At the end of a recent photo shoot, my friend Juli and I stumbled upon this mussel shell. Instead of the usual innards (which are delicious!), it held this little pool of sea water and tiny, shimmering iridescent bubbles.
Such a pleasant surprise that reminded me of the possibilities in what we might easily bypass, overlook or discard as “empty.”
